Any is a professional Musical Theatre graduate and is represented by Wig and Pen associates. She most recently performed in Singing in the rain at the Adelphi theatre, London. She is also a showgirl for the La Bouche showgirl company, she also performed at the Champions League final supporting the Black eyed Peas and has appeared in many professional productions including the UK tour of Annie, Scrooge, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and many more having the opportunity to perform alongside many theatre professionals such as John Barrowman , Ruth Madoc and Tommy Steele.
Amy also has experience in Film and TV. Whilst training at the Lorri Guppy school of dance and the New Dance School ,she completed her ISTD ballet, modern and tap exams. Amy is also a keen musician and has completed her ABRSM music practical and theory exams. Amy is thrilled to be teaching at JGSMT encouraging such talented children and is grateful to work alongside such a great team.
Jeff has been performing professionally as a Musician, Composer, Arranger and Teacher for … well … a very long time. For an even longer time, his heart has been in Musical Theatre – he was delighted to be asked to “steer the ship” when Pat Batho-Davies stood down.
Has directed many West End shows but latterly was MD for Phantom of the Opera star Peter Karrie, all over the world.
His passion for all things theatrical is only equalled by his desire to pass on his immense knowledge to the students of JGSMT.
Jemima has recently graduated with a BA Hons in Musical Theatre. She is now studying for her Masters in Musical Theatre at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with the Andrew Lloyd Webber scholarship.
Whilst studying, Jemima’s credits included Julie (Carousel), Mrs Caldwell (Urinetown) and The Lady of the Spa (Nine). She is also fortunate to have performed in a number of professional venues such as The New Theatre, St David’s Hall and The Royal Albert Hall.
Having been a member of the ‘Jeff Guppy School Of Musical Theatre’ at a young age herself,Jemima cannot wait to watch and inspire the next generation of ‘Guppy’ children.
Zoe has had over 20 years of experience in teaching, she has taught Performing Arts and Music across many Universities, Colleges, Schools, and tutoring private students.
Alongside teaching, Zoe works developing and directing theatre projects, whilst acting and singing professionally.
Zoe is a qualified Lamda acting coach which our drama students have the option to undertake and sit their exams.
Her passion is helping students develop their skills, increase their confidence, and inspire and motivate them to be creative skilled individuals.
Lucy has been teaching dance for the past 8 years, after professional dance training at Performers College in Essex and most recently graduating from the Royal Academy of Dance with a degree in Dance Education.She has taught many genres of dance over the years including, RAD ballet, ISTD tap, Musical Theatre and Contemporary. In 2016, Lucy moved down to live in South Wales from Wrexham where she ran her own dance school. Alongside her own school she has worked in primary schools teaching creative dance workshops and in a high school teaching BTEC dance, as well as choreographing pantomime productions with local companies. Lucy is delighted to be part of the JGSMT family and continue sharing her passion and knowledge of dance!
Elspeth has been performing from a young age, and has never lost her passion for it!
She studied music, drama and dance both in school and outside of school. She trained for many years with various arts companies and academies and has had the opportunity to perform at some of the most prestigious theatres in the UK including; The Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty’s Theatre and Sadlers Wells.
She has also worked with the likes of Birmingham Royal Ballet and National Dance Company Wales
Elspeth has been involved with many local productions including ‘Broadway to the Bay’, directed by David Mahoney at the Wales Millennium Centre, ‘Cinderella’ and ‘A Christmas Carol’, both performed in the New Theatre, Cardiff with Orbit theatre.
She also had the opportunity to perform at the Senedd after placing at Young Vale Singer of the Year.
Elspeth is a keen musician and passed her ABRSM exams in Vocal, Theory and Piano.
Most recently she helped choreograph Albert Primary School’s production of ‘The Lion King’, and thoroughly enjoyed working with the children.
She looks forward to working with the amazing team here at JGSMT and cannot wait to teach the next group of talented young performers!
Ffion is a musical theatre graduate and is represented by Regan Management.Although she specialises in musical theatre, she is also a Irish Dancing CRN champion, a highly skilled musician and First Dan Black Belt at Karate.
Her professional appearances include “Puss” Puss in Boots, Image Theatre Company, and “arena dancer” for The Black Eyed Peas, UEFA champions League final.
Roles whilst training include “Zebra” Just so, “Helene” Sweet charity, “Ensemble” A New Brain.
